My creative perception and practice are influenced by my background in radical political activism, working in the public sector and living mainly in East London.

Growing older, uncovering and nurturing much previously 'hidden', no longer restricted by external constraints and restrictions, nor requirements to conform to imposed stereotypes of femininity, age, privilege etc has been a liberating process enabling me to explore and express the creativity that is my life's heartbeat.

I am motivated by socio-political considerations and the struggle for compassion, freedom, justice and equality, driven by a passion for the natural environment and the imperative to protect and nurture this. Of equal significance to me are ‘spirituality,’ and natural 'magic' in their widest incarnations.

My life and my creativity are predicated on these intertwined elements.
